wohnen.de combines a large guide on living, furnishing and renovating with one of the strongest furniture online shops in the German-speaking region. We set up the shop with Magento 1.9 – linked to the ERP, with clear navigation and traceable deployment.

The wohnen.de portal comprises a large guide on living, furnishing and renovating – and one of the strongest furniture online shops on the German-speaking web.
The client was D&S Trading GbR. Goal: a flexible Magento shop that fits the connected ERP and is clear for customers.
Responsive Magento with clear orientation
We set up the furniture shop on Magento 1.9 in the then-current version. That kept the shop flexible and easy to adapt to the connected ERP system.
Plus clear navigation: the filter view also acts as a menu – so users find their way and do not lose the desire to shop.
With Git and connected deployment, the Magento installation could be shipped without detours. Every source-code change on the shop stayed traceable for the client.
